It is most often that large and medium-sized organizations must deal with situations where employees need to conduct operations in various different information systems, whilst each one of the latter has a different set of user accounts, passwords and permissions.

 

Such situations bring about security risks stemming from numerous users' "best practice" of using similar simple passwords for different accounts. All of the above automatically means insecure access to remote access databases because of uneven security levels.

 

In Smartlink, we offer a solution which minimizes or eliminates the risk of identity theft and standardizes the security measures used to secure databanks. SmartAccess is a chip-card or certificate based authentication and access management system for large organizations where an employee is authorized via a central security levels management system with the highest security standards in mind. This identification system in turn will take care of granting the rights to users in other connected databases. High security means multilevel identity protection and strict user-based encryption.

 

A chain is only as strong as its weakest link. SmartAccess allows the Client to grant users with one identification solution, but allows the user to have varying access in terms of physical access and database access as determined by the Client.
